It may not do much for your cardiovascular system most of the time, but unlike a gym workout, you’ll get plenty of fresh air, psychological benefits to seeing and breathing in nature, as well as exercising a multitude of different muscles in a real-world situation (as opposed to the unnatural environment of the gymbot).
